Sarah Ann Gooderson, the daughter of miller Matthew Gooderson, married corn dealer Robert Westmoreland at St Botolph Aldgate Parish Church in Middlesex.

Wednesday 22nd October 1969
The Divorce Reform Act received the Royal Assent but did not come into force until 1st January 1971. Partners no longer had to prove that fault lay with their husband or wife and, as a result, the divorce rate shot up.
