A HISTORY OF LANCASHIRE

The book "A History of Lancashire", written by P. J. Gooderson, was first published in London by Batsford in the year 1980. As a source of background information it will probably be of most interest to those genealogists who have already begun to carry out some research in the County.

Sized 9½ x 6½ inches, it consisting of 192 pages. These contain 34 black and white photographs and 14 black and white illustrations together with 8 maps.

Although now out of print, copies of the book are held by numerous public libraries within Lancashire and the surrounding Counties and relatively inexpensive copies can often be found in the area’s second-hand bookshops.
