In December we carried a sad report about the first night of David Gooderson’s one-man show, The Castaway, in Carlisle. Nobody turned up to watch, except the theatre’s two usherettes. Now the BBC, with their unerring sensitivity to public taste, have bought the show, and it will be screened next Sunday. |
