This website is dedicated to research of the surname Goodison, together with its variants Goodeson, Goodinson, Goodisson and Goodson etc.   There are ample indications that previous Family History research into these surnames has been carried out on a piecemeal basis by interested parties working independently of each other, resulting in the waste of much time and effort through duplication.   This One-Name Study and its website were inaugurated to help remedy the situation by providing a proper repository for all records concerning the surnames in question and by making them permenently available to anyone with a legitimate interest.   [Please note that website sections marked with a red asterisk* are password protected for privacy and legal reasons but the password is freely available to any genuine researcher.]
