BY CAR TO INDIA

 

The second of the three parties of Indian and Burman Civil Service probationers going out by motor-car to take up their respective appointments, as mentioned in The Times of September 15, left London yesterday on their long overland journey ; and the third party will leave towards the end of the week. The travellers, with the parts to which they are posted are:-

 

J. S. Elliott (Bihar) ; Kway Foung Ho (Burma) ; F. P. Mainprice (Central Provinces) ; A. E. Shields (Bombay) ; R. Thiruvenkatachari (Madras) ; D. G. Bhore, son of Sir Joseph Bhore (Madras) ; R. N. Gooderson (Punjab) ; and J. F. Hosic (Bihar).
