This is the last Will of me Mary Anne Gooderson of 28 Stanshawe Road Reading Spinster I hereby appoint George Henry Brown of Glenlogie, Spa Road, Weymouth, retired, Sole Executor of this my Will and bequeath to him the sum of Five pounds (£5) I hereby bequeath to my neice Amelia Alice Gooderson, Broadmore Asylum, Nurse, the sum of One hundred Pounds (£100) Both the above amounts duty free. The remainder of any monies to which I may be legally entitled after paying all my just debts is to be divided equally between my two brothers John Gooderson 28 Stanshawe Road Reading and George Edward Gooderson 222 Kennet Side Reading. Should either of my aforesaid brothers die before me then his share to be for his heirs in equal shares. Should both brothers die before me then the whole of which they would have received is to be divided equally among the heirs of my two aforesaid brothers. I give to Amelia Alice Gooderson aforesaid my Gold twist bracelet Pearl Ring and Gold Brooch set with pearls; To Emily Seymour Darling, 28 Stanshawe Road Reading, my Gold Curb Bracelet, Turquoise turban Ring, Gold red stone Ring and Sewing Machine; To Vera Gooderson 19 Arthur Road Slough my Gold Curb Ring; To Winifred Gooderson 19 Arthur Road Slough my Gold cross, Gold and Ruby Ring and Gold Fancy Bracelet; To Frida Gooderson 29 The Mall Swindon my Gold Watch and Chain and my three turquoise Ring; To Phoebe Gooderson 29 The Mall Swindon my Gold oval Brooch and Gold and Sapphire Ring, To Mrs. Tolman, Box Cottage, Otterton, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, my Gold fancy Brooch; To Mrs. Laurence, Hayes Barton, East Budleigh Salterton, Devon, my Bead Necklace, To Mrs. Gillingham, Yettington, East Budleigh, Devon, my mauve Brooch; and to Mrs. Williams, The School House, Otterton, Budleigh Salterton Devon my Gold Curb Brooch All my former Wills are hereby revoked In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 20th day of December One thousand nine hundred and twenty three.
