GEORGE HERBERT GOODERSON OF HARROW, MIDDLESEX – 1938

The Principal Probate Registry.

 

BE IT KNOWN that George Herbert Gooderson of 36 Angel Road Harrow on the Hill in the County of Middlesex

who died there on the 4th day of February 1930

made and duly executed his last Will and Testament and therein named his wife Selina Gooderson sole Executrix and residuary legatee and devisee

That in the month of March 1930 Probate of the said will was granted to the said Selina Gooderson who died on the 25th day of January 1937 intestate leaving part of the estate of the said testator unadministered

 

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written Letters of Administration with the Will

(a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of all the unadministered Estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the deceased were granted by His Majesty’s High Court of Justice at the Principal Probate Registry thereof to Willie David Catchpole of Penrhos Great Barton Bury St. Edmunds in the County of Suffolk Surveyor the surviving administrator of the estate of the said Selina Gooderson deceased

 

And it is hereby certified that an Affidavit for Inland Revenue has been delivered wherein it is shewn that the gross value of the said unadministered Estate in Great Britain (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £950.0.0

 

And it is further certified that it appears by a Certificate signed by an Inland Revenue Officer on the said Affidavit that £7 on account of Estate Duty and interest on such duty has been paid.
